Resume of Mission: All 345 mines on this mission were believed to have been effective.  Four A/C were non-effective.  Forty-two E/A sighted made 9 attacks and damaged 2 B-29s.  Flak encountered was at Shimonoseki, heavy and medium, meager to moderate and inaccurate and 30 to 75 S/L's.  Heavy and medium, meager to moderate, accurate to inaccurate at Miyazuru, 10 to 20 S/L's reported. Average mine load: 12,955 lbs. Average fuel reserve: 927 gallons.  One B-29 landed at Iwo Jima.
