Resume of Mission:  Photo reconnaissance showed 15% of the built-up area had been destroyed.  8 A/C bombed visually and 147 by radar.  7 A/C were non-effective.  Flak was heavy, medium, and generally inaccurate.  E/A was nil.  The crew of the A/C that ditched was rescued.  4 A/C landed at Iwo Jima.  Average Bomb Load:  15,171 lbs.  Average Fuel Reserve:  781 gallons.
