Resume of Mission:  It was estimated that all the mines dropped were effective (i.e. none landed ashore).  The Shimonoseki Straights blockade was extended and Niigata, Miyaza, and Maizuru were re-mined.  Flak was heavy, meager, and inaccurate.  Six E/A sighted made no attacks.  Two B-29’s landed at Iwo Jima.  Average Mine Load:  13,069 lbs.  Average Fuel Reserve:  761 gallons.
